ABSTRACT

The point of departure for this chapter is the UNESCO report Reimagining Our Futures Together: A New Social Contract for Education to rethink the education and training methods of educational institutions proposing a pedagogy of cooperation and solidarity. Training future teachers means insisting on intercultural dialogue, on decolonisation, on the deconstruction of dominant thinking, on the promotion of critical thinking and judgement, on collaboration and co-planning on both global and local scales.
