This case study, Community-based tourism and the struggle against depopulation in remote rural areas: the case of Linares de la Sierra (Spain), by Alfonso Vargas-Sánchez, turns to Spain to present how tourism can contribute to mitigating the depopulation of communities supported by projects developed for and with residents.
