ABSTRACT
This case study comes back to Portugal to drive the students’ attention to the territories of low density. This case entitled Sustainable communities, by Rui Mendonça-Pedro and Miguel Portugal, aims to entice students to think about innovative strategies to develop sustainable projects inland. Those projects have to be developed with a multidisciplinary approach.
