ABSTRACT

Nowadays, every business is under cut throat competition, same is with telecom industry. India is the fastest growing telecom network in the world with its huge population & development potential. In most of the organization, employee engagement becomes a crucial function due to high level of attrition rate in organization. The engagement of the employees in their work & retaining them in the organization is a very big issue these days. Many factors are there which affects employee to leave the organization and at the same time there are some factors which may allow employees to stay in the organization. It means the level of commitment given by an employee towards his organization’s culture, belief should be considered while recognizing him and growth opportunities would be given to the employees. Employee engagement leads to employee satisfaction towards his job & due to which employer will be able to retain his employees by following proper employee engagement policies & practices. The objective of the study is to find out the factors affecting employee engagement in Tata Teleservices Limited. In this study, data was collected through questionnaire from 45 employees working in Tata Teleservices Limited in UP (E) & UP (W) circle. SPSS 120software was used for analyzing data collected. The factors effecting employee engagement will encourage employees to make extended management support & friendly environment for the employees and understanding the importance of work life balance for employees & ask for employee’s views while decision making which will help in developing employer-employee relationship.
