ABSTRACT

‘Teaching’ is a complex activity happening at basic or higher education institutions (Muthanna, 2022) and demands that teachers are well-organized, flexible, patient, and caring (Murphy et al., 2004; Muthanna, 2011), and can make connections and relationships with students, peers, and community members (Manuel & Hughes, 2006). In our teacher education programs, we attempt to develop our student teachers’ such and other teaching capabilities by providing a variety of knowledge(s) that focuses on teaching and its performance in real-life situations. The provision of this knowledge happens through an interaction process between teacher educators and student teachers.
