ABSTRACT

Education is a tool to ignite the mind, which helps shape one’s personality. The primary objective of education is to aid the learner to be able to understand, communicate and develop one’s personality to make oneself a better person and as if desired to be employable. The formative years of education and a child’s experiences deeply influence the mind of a child. At a young age, they are chirpy, quick to learn and curious about their surroundings. Those who nurture them have to be conscious in the ways they open the world of learning for them. This seems to be more like a responsibility on an adult’s shoulder but when we think of it, it is a blessing to be able to mould the child in the right way with ethics and appropriate behaviour. This contribution will eventually help the nation grow further in a positive direction. Secondary sources of data were referred from government reports of MHRD, reports of UNICEF, ASER, several other articles and websites that were critically reviewed. This study presents the challenges in education and how students are left behind, owing to poor learning outcomes. The researchers have attempted to present innovative teaching strategies to improve the learning outcome among all children. These strategies are simple, cost-effective and useful for the holistic development of every child in a fun-filled and engaging way.
