ABSTRACT
Brooke M. Haney interviews actress Grace Byers about working with an intimacy coordinator on a TV set. Byers and Haney met working on the Amazon Prime Video TV show Harlem, where Byers plays Quinn Joseph and Haney was part of an intimacy team, headed by Chelsea Pace. Byers is also known for playing Anika Calhoun in Fox’s Empire and Reeva Payge in Fox’s The Gifted. Additionally, she is the author of the children’s book I Am Enough. In this interview, Byers and Haney talk about articulating boundaries, working on a set and how intimacy coordination can help with an actor’s storytelling.
