In this chapter, Brooke M. Haney writes about the intersection of intimacy and disability. They describe how disabilities are not always visible, and how any kind of disability must be taken into consideration for intimacy scenes. They detail the importance in storytelling and harmful models of disability. They write about how this impacts preproduction, actor intake meetings and choreography considerations.
