ABSTRACT
Katherine Blouse and Brooke M. Haney discuss considerations that intimacy coordinators should think about when working on scenes that have fat actors. They address definitions of fat, the lack of representation, the history of racism and harmful tropes. Recommendations are made around choreography and assistive tools, additional considerations for coordinating with other departments. They end the chapter with some positive examples of fat intimacy on TV, film and Broadway.
