ABSTRACT
The Greek polis constitutes a set of relations that are not purely utilitarian, but rather model relations according to logos—the immortal mode that is the harmony and ornamental order of the universe. This universe is constituted of intentionality, which presupposes the potential of freedom, manifest in the actualization of relations.
