ABSTRACT
This book sheds light on the need for more scholarship dedicated to architecture and planning that improves forgotten urban neighborhoods. Comparing experiences from different contexts, as Pablo Meninato and Gregory Marinic have illustrated herein, serves us well. Their insights allow us to better understand applied strategies which have evolved and learned from each other, while considering the ways in which various intervention strategies respond to unique circumstances.
