ABSTRACT

Quality Matters (QM) is a not-for-profit organization that offers continuous quality improvement for the growing number of online and blended courses in the K-12, higher education, publishing, and continuing education arenas. Participants in the Addressing Accessibility and Usability workshop are asked to complete a survey that collects feedback on their satisfaction with the workshop discussions, assignments, materials, and facilitators. After successfully completing the activities and achieving the workshop objectives, participants have access to their certificates of completion. QM members benefited from workshops offered in flexible delivery options but also needed just-in-time resources for quick access to information. Accessibility and Usability Resource Site originated as an idea shared by QM members in a feedback session held at the 2013 Regional Conference in Vancouver, Washington. The AURS leadership team who defined the framework included experienced educators from a variety of large and small higher education institutions, plus K-12 educators.
