ABSTRACT
The essay discusses how Punjabi drama has been ignored by scholarship despite its historic importance, while trying to understand the challenges to Punjabi drama in the 21st century. We need to discuss solutions to these challenges and opportunities for the development of the Punjabi drama. This essay is, thus, concerned with the past, present and future of Punjabi drama.
