ABSTRACT
I am a white, bisexual, Jewish woman who was raised in a wealthy suburb of Detroit, Michigan. Some of my identities gave me immense privileges as I explored the possibilities of restorative justice. Other identities put me at a disadvantage and taught me to question systems and institutions as they do not serve all equally.
