ABSTRACT

Professional Development is built on the goals of supporting meaningful reflection and integrative learning and impacting curriculum and instructional development beyond Graduation with Leadership Distinction (GLD). Graduation with Leadership Distinction as a respected, university-wide initiative feeds Scaling Up of both ePortfolios and integrative learning. The new graduation honor became Graduation with Leadership Distinction, awarded in the USC Connect pathways of community service, diversity and social advocacy, global learning, professional and civic engagement, and research. Aligning ePortfolios to institutional goals to promote integrative learning and leadership through Graduation with Leadership Distinction has been key to ePortfolio growth. Evidence collection and analysis include assessments about students and faculty and staff assessments. Faculty and staff serving as UNIV401 instructors represent a diverse group of academic disciplines, positions, and areas of campus. Professional development opportunities at multiple levels of engagement for faculty and staff to participate in, contribute to, and learn from the process.
