ABSTRACT
Our five students, Eva, Jennifer, Ling, Nate, and Scott, are now approaching the end of their doctoral journeys. Each has encountered unique challenges and issues that have tested their mettle as doctoral students and as individuals. We conclude the book with a look at each student's experience and how, given what we have learned about doctoral student socialization and development in each of the preceding chapters, these students could have been assisted along the way. The intention here is to demonstrate the theoretical and practical implications of the nuanced doctoral student experience as we work toward forming future scholars.
