ABSTRACT
The portfolio-development process at Sinclair Community College rests on a long tradition of serving the professional and academic needs of adult learners. Taking both experiential learning and academic preparedness seriously, SCC uses the portfolio-development process as a way to help students explore career options, become more comfortable in an academic environment, and explore how their experiential learning relates to academic study.
