ABSTRACT
This chapter represents a case study in why and how service-learning was introduced into several engineering courses. The approaches described here might be useful to others who plan to employ service-learning in their courses. The chapter also presents a poll of student opinions. It begins with a brief consideration of the basic what, why, and how of service-learning in engineering.
