ABSTRACT

Imagine you are a program director at a medium-size university. What would you do if you were required to set up e-portfolios for each student in the program, starting two months from now with 30 students? There is no precedent for e-portfolios on campus, and university resources at your disposal do not include any funding. There is lots of goodwill and perhaps a graduate assistant, but you are starting from scratch. Provosts, deans, and the student development office are keenly following your progress because learning technology and assessment are priorities in their multiyear plans.
