ABSTRACT

This chapter outlines effective strategies for assigning collaborative work or group work as part of a blended course experience. Readers will have the opportunity to reflect on the purpose of group work in a blended course, which activities and technologies will work best within the context of that course, and how to support student participation and success in completing group work. Guiding questions are also included to help readers decide which types of group work they want to offer and how to structure groups and group work expectations.
