ABSTRACT

This chapter offers an overview of some of the similarities and differences that blended courses have compared to more traditional, location-based courses. In particular, readers are asked to consider the pedagogical and andragogical components of their courses, and to adjust them accordingly for learners in a blended environment. Several tips and best practices are described to help instructors make a mind-set transition from more traditional teaching methods to those needed to support learner success in blended courses.
