ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we present two tools to help assess whether departments/institutions are ready for transformative change with respect to scaffolding undergraduate research throughout the curriculum. The first tool links to CUR’s Characteristics of Excellence in Undergraduate Research (COEUR) publication, and the second to a questionnaire that was developed during the CUR Transformations project.
