ABSTRACT

Hypnotic communication can help the healing process, even in a critical state, by creating a protective group around someone in need and by handling the different altered states of consciousness caused not by drugs but by experiences lived in the ICU. If we understand how hypnotic techniques help survival, we would have many tools to build our toolkit and handle hard-to-resolve situations. For this purpose, I explain some important characteristics of the stress-response and some evolutionarily substantiated roots of human behavior, introduce the model of the superorganismic connection state, and then apply the method through case reports.
