ABSTRACT

This article is a critique of the very idea of Manifesto that Slavoj Žižek uses, because it is an idea that assumes, on the one hand, that the Manifesto in and of itself is a valid way of expressing an idea that gives a certain meaning or end that makes a change of attitude possible and that orients our action; and, on the other hand, a Manifesto always praises something which in itself is shown to be the center or the essence of a whole and which is therefore worthwhile for us to determine and fight, as subjects, for the reign of this center (in this case Europe), thus excluding multiple centers which are everywhere and some of which do not even have great theoreticians who write “manifestos” to defend them.
