ABSTRACT
This chapter examines my journey into the world of classical Thai dance from my life in Canada and consists of four parts. (1) how I moved to Thailand to pursue a dance career; (2) how my training experience in khon in the monkey role was as the only foreigner; (3) how I gradually moved into the contemporary dance world; (4) how, as a solo artist, I see my future (see Figure 11.1).
