ABSTRACT

The authors of this chapter belong to Excelia Business School, a French business school based in La Rochelle, France. The authors chose to write together as they represent three different levels in Excelia Business School, which are interconnected: strategic level (with the Dean); management level (managing relations between the program directors, the Dean and the educators, and leading curriculum construction in supply chain management), and teaching level (one educator–researcher). The three authors are also members of the same department: the Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Project Management (SPP) Department. Valérie Fernandes, the Dean of the faculty, will tell you about the school’s philosophy and strategic positioning regarding sustainability management. Jesus Gonzalez-Feliu, Head of the SPP Department, will tell you about the recent creation of the MSc Sustainable Supply Chain Management. Finally, Morgane Fritz, Associate Professor in (Sustainable) Supply Chain Management, will tell you about her proposition of new courses for this Master and other programs.
