ABSTRACT
The rereading of a Freudian text seems to me to be, already in and of itself, a proposal brimful of consequences: texts which are continually subjected to re-reading and reinterpretation are defined as “classics,” a term applicable above all to literature and to philosophy. In the field of psychoanalysis too, a corpus of classic works has formed, of which Freud's work is the generative center.
