ABSTRACT
This chapter shares data storytelling and data visualization strategies so that assessment coordinators can be more effective in sharing assessment results. Storytelling techniques, storytelling devices, data storytelling principles, various data figures, and when to use different data figures are shared. In the chapter, the authors discuss powerful, persuasive, and captivating ways to present data to stakeholders. The point of collecting data is to influence decision-making, demonstrate needs, identify places for improvement, educate various audiences, and celebrate your progress. This chapter will help assessment coordinators share results using approaches that make data easy to understand, memorable, and compelling.
