ABSTRACT
A comprehensive overview of gay pornography would take a book in itself. The conversation which follows centres on some quite specific — and important — concerns, taking a particular cultural and political context more or less for granted. This brief headnote is designed to indicate that context, in a necessarily rather schematic way.
