ABSTRACT

Public health with household immunity modulations plays a very crucial role in preventing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to varied biogeographical conditions, India tends to suffer from various natural disasters. Inequitable distribution of resources and lower awareness levels among the public adds vulnerability. The present chapter attempts to understand the effectiveness of traditional practices, and preparedness in terms of public awareness based on behavioral modulations in developing immunity against the COVID-19 outbreak. An online questionnaire survey was conducted keeping in view the lifestyle parameters. Findings indicate that there is a possibility of better immune response and prevention of the pandemic, which is correlated with the respective lifestyle parameters e.g. using medicinal spices in daily life, fresh vegetables are fruits, and having access to sunlight in most houses.
