A good general introduction, dealing with the peoples, paradoxes and size of Africa is provided by the film Wonderful Africa. There is also a wide range of films and filmstrips on more specialized topics or with a national or regional basis. The filmstrip Tunisia , part of the series Countries, Regional Studies and Peoples shows the topography and economic life of the country, and another series, Regional Geography of Africa, covers aspects of West, East, Central and South African life. A reconstruction of a slave ship's visit to the West African coast is provided by the film The Slave Coast. Granada TV Film Library has a series of black and white documentaries on African affairs covering the Congo, Rhodesia and the Biafran War. The Kenya High Commission will supply a range of colour films on the recent development of the country, charging only for postage.
