ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on posttraumatic growth (PTG) in survivors of sex trafficking. It provides an overview of the traumatic impact of sex trafficking, discusses PTG in the context of complex trauma, and reports findings from a study that examined complex trauma and PTG in this population group through in-depth interviews and photovoice. The chapter concludes with ideas for nurturing and celebrating the identified aspects of PTG in interactions with survivors.
