ABSTRACT

In this final chapter we look at how managers will implement some of the recommendations the authors have made throughout the book. We recognize that it would be difficult if not impossible to cover this book’s chosen topic completely in a single work. Therefore, there are some empty spaces on our map, and given the fluid nature of this topic even a complete work would quickly be out of date. However, we can still make use of some of the concepts provided and this chapter provides some final directions and suggestions. In addition, we review the increasing importance of mission, vision, and values, and some final recommendations on how to implement the Managing at a Distance framework.
