ABSTRACT

As we continue our analysis of what has changed and the trends going forward, we introduce the idea that organizations are at their core the implementation of social technology, and there is a purpose that these types of technology look to serve. We assess the purpose of the firm, and its responsibility to its stakeholders. We also assess the responsibilities of the firm and employees that agree to work or participate in their purpose.

In addition, we begin to explore ideas like presence, serendipity, and engagement that will have a significant effect on successful management in a world of hybrid/remote work.
