ABSTRACT

As organizations shift to a hybrid/remote model changes in technology are necessary but insufficient. Technology itself does not tell you which changes can be made that might improve your business processes – or even which current business processes are no longer necessary, or need to be altered due to the business environment and changes in technology. In this chapter we explore some of the ways organizations use information, how we often fail to move to new platforms in a timely fashion, and even how the use of some platforms (such as employee monitoring) have inherent issues related to how they are utilized and the resulting employee engagement.
