The Controls of a Television Receiver—and How they are Used

The control of a television receiver may be considered under two headings—(i) the operation of the controls which enable a picture to be obtained either by the Baird or Marconi-E.M.I. systems, and (2) the setting of the pre-set subsidiary controls which, once adjusted, will only require resetting with some alterations of conditions.
