ABSTRACT

This research paper aims to validate the corporate culture dimensions of the hotels from the perspectives of hotel employees. The main aim of the study is to evaluate the relative importance of corporate culture dimensions, which includes training and development, teamwork, and rewards and recognition with employee’s organizational commitment and pride. The collection of data was done through convenience sampling from 425 hotel employees from 13 different hotels located in four metro cities in India. The results confirmed that the model of performance criteria is multi-dimensional. We found a positive correlation among the constructs of the proposed framework. This chapter attempts to validate a model based on the perception of hotel employees pertaining to the corporate culture dimensions of the hotels which will give an insight toward better understanding. Further, it will also help the hotel owners in designing strategies according to their employees’ response against corporate culture dimensions. Finally, the use of structural equation modeling in validating the model is also a valuable contribution.
