ABSTRACT

Concept: Innovations advocate serving as a backbone to the travel and tourism industry. The global epidemic COVID-2020 influenced the entire industry and changed consumers’ patterns. Subsequently, technological innovations have become essential to the changing business scenario. Because of the env’ironment that encouraged the tourism industry to take more opportunities, now is the time to start implementing innovative technological solutions. It would boost industry growth and aid to increase efficiency.

Purpose : How successfully would it influence our thinking, lives, and travel is the key question? The speed with which the AI-digital landscape is being adopted opens up the possibility of replacing current tourism practices. This study seeks to understand the potential, challenges, opportunities, advantages, and awareness of the technologies. This chapter aims to explore the extent of how the AI-digital landscape can affect tourist management and tourism trends and culture. It focuses on understanding how futuristic technology will affect conventional tourism.

Design/methodology/approach : A structural questionnaire has been framed for the purpose of examining the hypotheses. The potential of futuristic technology has been identified using a strategic random sampling technique with a sample size of 500, and the application of statistical tools like one-way ANOVA has been applied for testing the hypotheses. A prediction with the model has been prepared to understand the important demographic and physiological factors influencing the tourism trend using neural network technique. It is found that there is a significant impact of the AI-digital landscape on socio-eco and overall sustainable development.

Although AI is not a panacea, its application to sustainable development should not be ignored.-
