ABSTRACT
As communities begin to re-open after COVID pandemic, a “new-normal” began for ambulatory care practices. Ambulatory care practices undertake the difficult task of restoring patient volumes through the practice while limiting exposure risks for patients and staff. This chapter explains the role of real-time location systems (RTLS) in implementing new processes necessary to optimize patient flow while creating a safer environment.
