ABSTRACT

This chapter provides the reader with a detailed description of the curriculum of the Master’s in Global Education Program. After briefly describing each required course’s key goals and objectives, recommended readings and resources, expected and achieved learning outcomes, and the assignments as they map against the outcomes, this chapter includes a thematic analysis of the cases that form each subsequent Chapters 3–11 of the book. A section on challenges the students confront as they progress through the program and a brief discussion follows. Data from this chapter comes from the different courses that program faculty have created. Data on performance comes from the entire cohort of students enrolled from 2019 to 2023 as they progressed through the common assignments for each course. We report the points accumulated in the assignments and evaluate these against the outcome expectations for each required course for four academic years (AY), from AY 2019–2020, when the program was launched, to AY 2021–2023, when this book was submitted for publication.
