ABSTRACT
In this chapter, a primary school teacher, who participated in a masters-level Lesson Study module, discusses her Lesson Study experiences alongside her colleagues and co-researchers. The author explores the value of Learning Study in the teaching of grammatical features (such as parenthesis, relative clauses and modal verbs) and shares her insights into developing pupils’ identities as writers who are able to make informed and deliberate choices in their own work.
