ABSTRACT
We are living in a fascinating time of fundamental refurbishing of the world system. This refurbishing, at present, goes together with a spectacular restructuring of economic, political, ideological and social relations. One of the world regions experiencing important changes is undoubtedly Europe:
On the one side the collapse of state-controlled economic systems in Eastern Europe.
On the other side the constitution of a unified European economy (Europe 1992).
