ABSTRACT
The four terms Person, Personality, Group, and Culture are among the cardinal terms in the science of inter-personal relations. The purpose of this discussion is to clarify the method by which their meaning may be made explicit. The terminology owes something to the Cambridge Logical School, and especially to A. N. Whitehead. 1 The debt is evident in the use of such expressions as “event”and “event manifold”.
