The constitution of the Board was three-fold and consisted of:—
The President (Colonel) and Deputy-president (LieutColonel) who up to the end of 1945 interviewed all the candidates between them: subsequently the President's function became largely judicial: the Deputy-president and Senior PSO were then constituted as “Team-leaders” and shared the interviewing:
4 PSO's (a Major and 3 Captains):
the Psychological Department consisting of a Psychiatrist in charge, a Psychological Officer and 3 or 4 Serjeanttesters.
