ABSTRACT
Penning this chapter has given me an opportunity to reflect upon my own ambivalent relationship with feminism. Although I feel alienated by feminists at times, I remain seduced by their attempts to create alternative, woman-centred ideas and spaces, and to alter the many forms of male-domination evident here and in other countries.
