ABSTRACT
“Jubilee 2000 in the Holy Land: A Musical Journey to the Land of Jesus.” The promise proclaimed by the title for the contents of a CD jewel box is not inconsiderable. In addition to the “musical journey,” the “Limited Millenium [sic] Edition” provides a CD-ROM containing fifty sacred sites in the Holy Land, which the producers “hope … will be useful, on your pilgrim [sic] to the Holy-Land, or help bring the Holy-Land closer to you.” There is no reason to doubt the claim, for in the spine of the CD jewel box are two minuscule flasks, one filled with olive oil, the other containing holy water.
