ABSTRACT
The relationship between architecture and nature has long been the subject of critical attention. Now, fuelled by popular concerns about the future sustainability of the planet, the relationship has been given fresh emphasis as the new scientific and technological advances associated with energy conservation are applied to the design of buildings.
