ABSTRACT

For ages, Europe has played a significant role in the development of mankind’s civilization. Europe is rightfully called the cradle of civilization. The solution of the European security problem will make considerably easier the search for ways to a lasting peace and international security. But the solution of this problem is connected with the solution of the German problem. In particular, West German scientists in 1956 constructed a centrifuge for isotope separation in the nuclear centre of Brazil, in San-Paulo. The reasonable sections of the West German public are increasingly raising their voices against the adventurers, planning to change the frontiers by force. Most of the participants at the talks recognized that, when discussing European problems, it is necessary to precede from the realities, established as a result of World War II, and primarily to recognize established frontiers and the formation of the second German State - the GDR.
