ABSTRACT
It is difficult for a foreigner, even if he is an insider, to address an Israeli audience on the subject of intelligence, security and peace. This is because the Israeli people live in a particularly troubled area, where the concepts of peace and security are seen from a different perspective than they are by those who live in other countries.
