ABSTRACT
Key skills are an important component of capability. The RSA Examinations Board has been assessing skills for many years and are currently involved in assessing candidates for General and National Vocational Qualifications (GNVQs and NVQs). Their experience is substantial and, in the case of high level personal key skills, relevant to the development of capability in higher education.
